PURE BLISS

Happy Friday all!! WOW! This has been a long week.....and I have so much still to get done, LOL! All it has done is storm here, and it has been really really COLD!!!  So, of course I have managed to catch a bad cold, which makes me want to do nothing but lie around with a blanket and do nothing.  This does not make for a very productive week,uggghhhhh........so, lots to get done today! But first, I wanted to share this card I made for the love of my life! I know I am really lucky - he is such a wonderful man, and treats me like a Queen so I wanted to give hm a card for no reason other than letting him know I love and appreciate him!  So, I got out my Bliss stamp set(clear item 123217) that I got FREE from the Sale-a-Bration catty - can you believe how beautiful this FREE set is?? - and went to work!  I just love all the pretty stamps in this set - it is an amazing stamp set, I seem to want to stamp with it all the time lately! I stamped my base card with the little flower in Not Quite Navy ink and then paired the card stock with the Spring Vintage patterned paper(item 121782) from the Occasions mini - this is also one I used again and again, I just adore all the beautiful colors and designs in this pack!  The image is stamped on Very Vanilla card stock(item 101650) - first, I stamped the butterflies and flowers in Baha Breeze ink(item 111833) and then stamped right over that butterfly with my sentiment in Always Artichoke ink(item 105219).  Then, I ran the whole piece through my Big Shot(item 113439) using the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder(item117335) .  Pretty, right??!!  I layered it on a piece of Baha Breeze and Always Artichoke card stock that I distressed with my distresser tool that is actually part of the cutter kit(item 106958), an amazing tool you NEED to have, then inked the edges of all three pieces.  I then stamped that little flower in Not Quite Navy, Always Artichoke, and Baha Breeze, cute them out, and popped them up on dimensionals, adding some rhinestones to give it some pop! And, since I did not want those flowers stamped on the base card to be ignored, I added pearls to those, lol!  I topped of this card with some yummy Marina Mist Satin ribbon(item 119751), sooooo pretty!!!!  I really had fun with this one because I knew I was going to give it to my love so I wanted it to be really purdiful :-)  I am giving it to him tonight - I hope he likes it!!! If you like any (or all, heehee) of the items you see here, you can order them from my online store or shoot me an email and I will be happy to place your order.  And, don't forget: with each and every $50 order, you get to pick something FREE from the SAB catalog, something like the Bliss set that you see here! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend - stay warm and dry, as I will be doing here, lol! And, find some time to stamp - I know I am going to *wink*

I LOVE CUPCAKES!

YAY! The sun is out and shining today although the wind is still blowing like crazy!!!  I am just glad the sideways rain has stopped, lol!!  Although it is supposed to start back up again later on today so I better enjoy the break while I can!  Soooo, today I have a little birthday pick-me-up to share - I love making birthday cards, such a happy reason to send a card! This one went to a friend who shares the same birthday I do - pretty cool, right??  And, we both love cupcakes so this is what I came up with! I used the super cute patterned paper and coordinating buttons that I received FREE from Sale-a-Bration - how cool is that??!! I LOOOOOOOOOVE FREE, LOL!  It's called Ice Cream Parlor(item 122242): isn't that a great name???  The buttons actually come with coordinating ribbon all in one package(item 123529) which is fabulous! I did not use the ribbon on this card but stay tuned for another project where it is predominately featured :-)  The stamps are from the uber cute cupcake stamp set in the Occasions Mini called Create a Cupcake(clear item 121982) , which is made even more fabulous because it has a coordinating cupcake punch(121807) that makes is super easy to make all kinds of different colored cupcakes for your projects! For this one, I stamped the cupcake base in Melon Mambo classic ink(item 115656), then added the "icing" in Pretty in Pink classic ink(item 101301) with some glitter sprinkles(item 114286) and a cherry on top - soooo fun!  And, check out those cute little buttons!!  I just love them, they match the paper perfectly, AND can be used for other projects because of the different colors! I added some twine and just tied it in a knot for that whimsical feel - just soooo CAUTE!  I had fun making this for my birthday buddy - and I know it was we are on the same wavelength because I also got a cupcake card, LOL!  Soooo fun! I hope you like my little piece of happiness and if you would like to have these items for your very own, all you have to do is place a $50 order in my online store or email me your order and you can choose these products for FREE!!!   I have lots going on today as I have two big classes and Club coming up this weekend, so I will be busily prepping for those in my stamp room today! I have another fun project to share tomorrow, but until then, happy stampin'!

COME ON SPRING!!!

Well, it is another cold, rainy, windy, just plain nasty day here and I am soooooo ready for Spring! I mean really, I almost got blown off the porch this morning while waiting for the dogs to come in - sheesh!! So, I thought maybe if I stamped some spring cards, it would help bring it faster, lol!  I decided to use the new Occasions Mini set called Easter Blossoms(clear item 122057) - such a pretty set, and I see way more things to do with this set than just Easter! I also did a lot of layering on this card - I just love layers, it really adds so much! I started out with my most favorite color Rich Razzleberry and used it for my base card - something about this color just makes me happy :-)  I paired with Springtime Vintage patterned paper(item 121782), also from the Mini - I swear, I have reached for this paper more than any other lately, it is just soooooo PRETTY!!!  I punched all the edges using the Scalloped Trim border punch - doesn't it look fun with all those layers of border punched goodness, lol??!  I stamped the sweet little girl image on Very Vanilla card stock and then ran it through my Big Shot using the Square Lattice embossing folder and just love how it looks! And, of course, no card is really complete without some pretty ribbon so I added a pretty little ribbon treatment using the Always Artichoke seam binding ribbon (item 121000). A little bling, a sweet sentiment, and DONE! This card makes me happy and for just a little while, I was able to forget the wind howling outside :-)  Stamping just makes me happy - it is sooooo good for the soul!! All of these items are available in my online store or you can send me an email and I would be happy to help you place an order! And remember, all orders that are $50 or more will earn you FREE stuff because it's Sale-a-Bration time, whoohooo!!!  I love it!! FREE is always good, right?? *wink*  So, I am off to stamp some more things for class this weekend and then I am meeting some friends for drinks and appetizers later.  Sounds like a fun day, right??  I just love my job :-)  I will be back tomorrow with a super fun project to share so until then, happy stampin'!!!!

Happy Valentines Day to everyone! I celebrated Valentines Day with my honey over the weekend and I feel totally spoiled! I love having couple time with him - seems like with life as busy as it is, it does not happen as often as it really should so I treasure those times when it does :-)  I also had a Stamp a Stack on Friday night and this card is one of  the ones they made.  I just love this little plane from the Occasions Mini - it is part of the set called Plane and Simple(clear item 121964) and is perfect for all kinds of occasions which is why I love it! I decided to use it for a Valentines card (I guess it could be for anything really since it does not say Valentines on it :-))  This is a pretty simple card to make - we punched out bunches of  hearts with the Small Heart punch(item 117193)  and just adhered them on the Crumb Cake base(item 120953)  to act as the design for the card.  The patterned paper is from the set called Play Date(item 117168) - it has little red hearts all over it so it was perfect for this card :-)  We stamped the plane in Crumb Cake ink(121030) and then added that cute little banner so that the plane is pulling the message across the card.....cute, right??!!  The banner is stamped with the set called Valentine Defined(clear item 123057):  The Crumb Cake banner is stamped with the heart wire stamp in Blushing Bride ink(item 119786) and then stamped with the sentiment stamp right over it in Real Red ink(item 103133) .  Such a quick but cute card, I think this was one of my faves that we did on Friday night!  And, this one will be going to my son - I always make up little Valentine goodies for the kiddos - hey, they are my Valentines too *wink*  If there is anything here that grabbed your interest, you can order them in my online store or email me and I will be happy to help you place an order! Remember, you still get FREE Sale-a-Bration gifts right now with every $50 order so take advantage of it - it does not last forever :-)  I have lots of paperwork to catch up on today and some stamping to do for my weekend classes so my day will be full! I hope you all get time to stamp today - have a wonderful day and I will be back tomorrow with another cutie they did in class over the weekend! Until then, happy stampin'!
