TAMARA'S SKETCH CHALLENGE - LOVE MY COFFEE!

Hi all!!! WOW!! I can't believe it's already Thursday again - and time for another fab sketch from Tamara!! I thought this sketch was super fun and there are soooo many possibilities with this one!! So, I decided to combine two of my favorite things - coffee and stampin' - LOL! I love these new loop-to-loop stamps, aren't they cute? I adore this little coffee mug, and can see it on many cute little gifties in the future! This is one of the Hostess sets in the new catty. I enjoyed playing with this sketch and you will too! Make sure you pop on over to Tamara's site and give the other DT gals some love - they are all fabulously talented and have done wonderful things with this sketch! And, I sure would love to see your take on this sketch, so how about giving it a try? Remember to upload it to Tamara's so we can all take a peek! And, speaking of coffee, I am off to get some, then to the grocery store I go along with about a million other places on my list! And, guess who goes with??? Yep, my new little appendage Bella - she has her own little purse I carry her around in, and she just sits in there and checks everything out!! Heehee, I am turning into the stereotypical dog lady - LOL! Thanks for stopping by and I will be back tomorrow with the Stamp Something Challenge. It's a fun one, so make sure you check back! Toodles!

FOR A FRIEND

Hi all!! Thanks for your sweet comments yesterday on my mojo, or lack thereof - LOL! I think some of you are right, I am TIRED!! But, I am starting to get used to my sleep deprivation and even have gotten back on some semblance of a normal schedule! And, I did stamp last night, which made me happy! I was inspired by my new catty that came in the mail yesterday - WHOOHOO!!! There are some uber cool things in this new one so if anyone is interested and needs one, drop me an email! The catty is free from me to you - you only have to pay $6 for the shipping. And, if you are local, let me know and we can hook up and I will get you one! I used new schtuff from the catty to make this card, aren't those little birdies cute??!! And, I am lovin' the new dsp in this one - ack, I want it all!! This card is pretty simple but I am thinking of using it in an upcoming workshop so it needed to be *wink*. Purple is not a color I use very often - I don't really like it, but it works here, don't you think? So anyway, off to do laundry and hopefully fit some stamping time in as well as blurf! Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by - I appreciate YOU!

I SEEM TO HAVE MISPLACED MY MOJO

Can anyone help me find it??!!! I cannot tell you how many pieces of card stock and dsp ended up in the trash last night - sheesh!! It's like I have never stamped before!! So, I decided to use a sketch to get some creative juices flowing and remembered I had seen a fabulous one on Nikki's blog. If you have not been over to her blog, check it out, she is very talented and a sweetheart to boot! I am not thrilled with the outcome, but I thought I would share it anyway. They can't all be great, right?!! The sketch is fabulous, and I probably will use it again - it's a fun layout! And, I am just happy I had time to stamp! I tell ya, Bella is a cutie, but she is a lot of work too, lol!! I don't get a whole lot of sleep at night because she gets up to go outside about every 2-3 hours.....I am hoping that will end very soon! So, by the end of the day, I am pretty worn out. I am hoping to get us all on some sort of schedule soon so I can get back to my regular stamping times as well as get other things done - like groceries, lol!! Right now, we have NOTHING in the house! So, I am going to do that today and hopefully will find some time and creative juices this afternoon and stamp something. I need to get my stuff done for Kayla's party so that is on my to-do list! I also feel bad because I have not had time to blog hop, but I hope to do that this morning for a little while anyway!! Thanks for still coming to visit me - I appreciate it!!! 'Till tomorrow!!

LIMELIGHT SKETCH

Hi all!! Whew!! I was able to squeeze in a little bit of stamping time and so I decided I wanted to do the sketch posted at Limelight Papercrafts! I love Limelight, Mandy is awesome and so are the DT gals!! If you have never been to the site, you should check them out! I decided to use the sketch to do Kayla's birthday card since her birthday is this Friday - and yes, she is doing a sleepover (I must be CRAZY!!!) She is going to be TWELVE - I mean, how does this happen??!!! So, I am preparing for the onslaught as they will arrive on Saturday night and stay until Sunday afternoon! We have lots of fun things planned though, so I will have some things to share. Kayla adores cupcakes so I think I will be making those for her to take to school on Friday. She will love the glittery cupcakes on her card too! Here is the recipe, I am off to take a shower and take care of Bella while Tony watches football! It really IS like having a new baby.....and now I know why sometimes its a good thing that my kids are older, LOL! And, for an update on our new edition: she is doing REALLY well and has been running around, playing, and being really cute! She is eating really well, and seems to be feeling better! Now we are working on potty training - that is soooo much fun - NOT!!!! And, the other two doxies are still not very friendly so it causes some logistical issues, but I am hoping with time they will adjust. Otherwise, it will be very hard for us all to coexist!! Here is a cute picture I took of Bella this morning - I just think she is adorable!I will be back tomorrow with something cute to share!! Enjoy your Sunday!
