STAMP SOMETHING - 3D SOMETHINGS

Whoohooo!! It's Friday all, and time for the Stamp Something challenge which I am lucky enough to host this week!! I asked the DT gals to come up with something 3d - anything they liked, but 3d!! Well, needless to say they blew me away with their creativity - how beautiful and creative all of their projects are!!! I decided for my sample that I would try my hand at one of these little round top boxes I have seen floating around - there is a great template on Splitcoast for this if you care to give it a whirl!! I am using mine as a Hostess gift so it is filled with little chocolates and such, but I see a lot of uses for this little cutie!! I decided to use my Good Morning Sunshine paper because I love how it looks with my Pacific Point paper!! I also used my new Big Shot Die that makes these awesome little birds - aren't they fabulous??!!! And, that giant flower you see on top? Well, it really sparkles since I added Iridescent Ice with Versamark, I love it!! So, make sure you head on over to the Stamp Something Site to see what the other gals did AND if you decide to give this on a try, upload your link to the site so we can all see it!!! I am sponsoring the blog candy this week as well so this is what I will be giving away to the lucky winner:
(1) a 6x6 package of Making Memories Kids Collection
(2) Two packages of flower embellies
(3) One new roll of American Crafts ribbon

TAMARA'S SKETCH CHALLENGE

Here it is, Thursday again.....I can't believe it!!! I have to drive to Sacramento today for an appointment (2.5 hours), so this will be a quick post! This is the card I did for Tamara's sketch challenge this week - great sketch, simple but fun! I decided to use my new flower embosslit so I used Riding Hood Red, then covered the die cut in Versamark, added some Iridescent Ice and heat, and voila!! I purdy flower!! The center of the flower is one of our new and very cool corduroy brads, which I love. The sentiment is also embossed using clear embossing! Very simple as I said, but I like how it turned out!! FRIENDSHIP SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT

Happy Hump Day!!! And yes, it is STILL raining - sheesh!! Courtney, if you are reading this, I will need help building that ark - LOL! So, today I wanted to share with you the February scrapbook class I taught with the friendship theme. We had such a good time using some of the cool new tools like the Circle Cutter, the Big Shot flower Embosslits, and the Eyelet Border punch - sooo fun!!! This is a two-page 12x12 layout with Riding Hood Red as the base card stock and Pink Flamingo Designer Series Paper, which I love! The gals had a blast putting this layout together - we stamped on the chipboard letters, added some stamping on the background, and added lots of fun accents with punches. Too fun!!! So, there you have it - scrap booking AND stamping, does it get any better? Now, I just need to add my pics *wink* Thank for stopping by today, I appreciate you taking the time! And, remember, if you have not yet entered in the drawing for my blog candy see this post and get your name in the hat since the drawing will be on Saturday! Enjoy the rest of your day!

SCRAPBOOK SUNDAY

Hi all!! I hope you had a fabulous Valentines Day - I know I did!! I was totally spoiled with breakfast, flowers, chocolate, and then a romantic dinner made by my adoring husband - yep, I am one lucky woman!!! I even was able to get some stamping done!! Today I actually want to share a layout I did a while ago for a contest that I did not win, but hey, I love the page anyway! I used some clear transparency pieces which I stamped on, as well as the giant flower which I inked up! The title is made using the Onboard Lots of Letters which I also inked in white and edged in black. The pics are from when my oldest was home over the Christmas holidays and him, his gf Nikki, and my dd went hiking around the property with our lab Dexter. I was playing with my new camera so the pics are not the best, but I wanted to scrap them anyway! I did add some color back into the pics (the bushes) but just enough to make the pics stand out! I was really pleased with this layout, and although I lost out to a dinosaur page, I am okay with that - LOL! Thanks for stopping by all and make sure you tune in tomorrow for some fabulous stamp projects I have been working on as well as BLOG CANDY!!! Whoohoo!!!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
