WINGS OF FRIENDSHIP

Happy Hump Day all!! I just KNEW I would appreciate Wednesday's more when I was back at work - LOL!! And, tomorrow is my Friday, WHOOHOO!! I have settled in a little bit better this week and actually had time to stamp which thrilled me!! I FINALLY got to break into my new goodies from Stampin' Up! - one of the perks of being a demonstrator is we get to order early from the new catalog and I of course took advantage of THAT!!! I decided I wanted to make a card using Jen's SFYTT this week, it is a FABULOUS sketch!!! And, I broke out my new in-colors, and my new stamp set called Wings of Friendship. LOVE this set, and I already know it will be seeing a lot of ink! I actually stamped the bird and the flower image twice in different colors, making sure some of the green still showed through as an outline and I am happy with how it turned out! And, don't you just love that new DSP called Razzleberry Lemonade? How yummy is that?! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!!I apologize for the poor picture quality, by the time I got to take the pic, it was dark out and the lighting was a little off. But, I am loving all the new colors and the beautiful new designer papers - I cannot WAIT until July 1st when I can put in my big order - and guess what? You can put yours in too!!! If you need to see a catty and don't have a demonstrator, I will have the catty link available and you can order online at my website - how easy is that? Tons of my customers order this way and they love it!! Have questions - just email me, I am happy to help! So, off to work, but I do take time on my lunch hour to catch up on some blogging and I will be visiting you all then *wink* Have a fabulous day and thanks sooo much for stopping by! I appreciate YOU!

WHIMSY RECIPE CHALLENGE

Happy Monday all!!! Well, here it was, my first weekend off after starting my new job and wouldn't you know it, I spent most of the weekend fighting a huge migraine and sinus infection - ugggghhhh.......! None of the stamping and blogging I had planned got done so I was disappointed about that!! Still don't feel 100% but I have to get to work so I will take my drugs and hope for the best!! I am pretty sure it is because the weather keeps changing so drastically - we go from super hot to chilly every few days and it is killin' me!!! But, I digress.....let me get to the real reason you are here -it's Whimsy Challenge Day!! Today's challenge is a recipe challenge - you have to use two patterned papers, one ribbon, and either ribbons, brads, or flowers for your embellies!! Super easy, right? I decided to use my adorable new lion stamp - I just love this guy!!! Make sure pop by the Whimsy site and check out what the other DT gals did for this one, they are really amazing!! And, remember, if you want to play along, you don't have to use a Whimsy stamp, but if you do, you get an extra chance at winning a fabulous Whimsy stamp for your collection! Just upload your link and you are entered!! Have a fabulous day and I am will be stopping by to visit you guys once I get off work today!!! Thanks so much for stopping by!
