Happy Friday everyone!! What a great week this was!!! Beautiful sunshiny days, lots of progress on my to-do lists, and good time with friends - man, I love weeks like this :-) I even stamped some cards to send out to people I have been thinking about, which makes me feel great! I feel like for as much as I make cards, I don't send nearly enough of them and one of my goals this year is to send at least six per month! Here is one that will be winging its way to a good friend back East! I used one of the stamp sets you can earn FREE in the Sale-a-Bration catalog, whoohooo!!! I just love FREE, lol!! Ooh, and let me tell you, I just broke into a new pack of DSP from the Occasions Mini and now I am wondering what took me so long??!! It is BEAUTIFUL and I can see me making lots of projects with it - it is called Springtime Vintage(item 121782), and I just love the yummy colors of Baha Breeze and Always Artichoke, they look fabulous together!! Lots of layers on this one; you know me, I love me some layers, *wink* I also used my Big Shot embossing folders - the Baha Breeze card stock(item 115352) was run through the Big Shot(item 113439) using the Square Lattice folder(item 119976) and the Always Artichoke scalloped circle card stock (item 105119) reflects the designs from the Perfect Polka Dots folder(item 117335) - fun!!! I used the Punch Bunch set(free with every $50 order) from the SAB catty - I love it because every single image in there has a matching punch, making it so much fun to create with! I actually colored my stamp with my stampin' write markers(item 119806) so I could have the different colors - I used Always Artichoke, Baha Breeze, and some Rose Red to add some pop (this is the same color I used for the sentiment as well). The sentiment is from the stamp set Your a Gem(item 12270, clear) - loooove it!! It can be found in the Occasions Mini as well, and if you have not taken a look at this one, you need to - it has super fun sentiments that you can use for all kinds of occasions or just because :-) I got a little carried away with the pearls(item 119247), but oh, I just love them!!! You get 50 in each pack too, so why not use as many as you can, right, lol!?? And, I also used some of the new seam binding ribbon(pg. 16) in the Occasions Mini - so excited that we have so many new colors to choose from!!! This ribbon is super fun to play with, I am totally addicted, heehee!! I really like this card, it makes me smile, and I am hoping it does the same for my friend!! Have you sent out a handmade card lately? If not, I challenge YOU to do so - it will make someone feel good, and bring a smile to their face, and isn't that why we do this?? If there are items you see here that I used and you have to have, you can order them online in my online store or you can contact me and I will be happy to help you place an order! Now is the best time to get all the goodies you want because with every $50 spent, you will earn a FREE item from the SAB catalog!!! Can't beat that!!! So, I am off to the post office with my packages in hand - have a wonderful weekend! I will be back with some more fun cards I made to mail out, but until then, happy stampin'!!

LOVE AND WATERFALLS
Happy Hump Day all!!!! WOW!! The weather here is so strange - one day I am freezing to death and then the next day you can wear short sleeves! Today it is absolutely beautiful outside, makes me want to throw open all the windows and enjoy the nice sunshine :-) Makes me want to stamp too, lol!!! For Valentines, I like to spoil my husband with more than one card - he gets a card a day for about a week, heehee! So, this is one of them that I made that he will receive. It is a waterfall card made with the new sets out of the Occasions Mini called Valentine Defined(clear item 123057) and XOXO(clear item 121973), both of which I have fallen in love with and inked up TONS already. For me, these can be used year round to stamp cards for the people you love. I also used the yummy new designer series paper Love Impressions(item 121780) - just love all the hearts and kisses on this paper :-) Not a ton of detail on this card, Tony does not like a lot of fluff, LOL! But, still stinkin' cute, right??!! The images are mounted on squares of Pink Pirouette card stock(item 111351) that are embossed with the Square Lattice folder(item 119976) using my Big Shot(item 113439). I also used my Eyelet Border Punch(item 119853) on the strip of Pink and added two silver glimmer brads(item 121003 in the Occasions Mini) for some extra pizzazz! The little tab at the bottom was made using the Modern Label Punch(item 119849) and DSP. I then just added a cute little Whisper White flower button(item 119743) with twine - love it!!! So, all you do is pull that little tab and you have a waterfall of images. It is super cool and a WOW! every time I make one of these!
Here is a shot of it open - it is hard to see it in the pics but it is flipping those images over one by one! And, when you pull the tab down, it reveals the sentiment stamped inside - this one says love you :-) Super cute, right??!! I just love making these, they are fun to do and they are a kick to give to people because you get to watch them reveal the secret message and see a huge smile every time!!! Today is full of stamping for me and then off to run some errands! I hope you all get some creative time in as well - it is so good for the soul :-) If you like any of the products I used on this project, they can be purchased in my online store or you can email me and I will be happy to help you put an order in! Remember, Sale-A-Bration is going on and that means free goodies with every $50 order so it is a perfect time to get those favorites you have been highlighting in the catalogs - and you know who you are who do this LOL!!! Thanks for stopping by, I will be back with another fun project to share tomorrow - until then, happy stampin'!

WEEKEND SCRAPPIN'
Good Monday morning all!!! WHEW! Very busy weekend with three events but lots of fun stamping and scrapbooking with some new friends - yippee!!! I love to stamp on my scrap pages, it takes two of my favorite loves and mooshes them together to create a WOW!!! Heehee, Loooooove it!!!! So, I thought I would share a fun scrapbook page that I made for my workshop - they actually made the 6x6 page and then I showed them how to take that into a 12x12 layout - too fun!! And, it is all about love to boot! I need to add some pictures still but I have plenty of mushy pics to put on there, lol!!!! Lots of fun new product used on this layout from the new Occasions Mini Catalog - I swear, they get better each and every time we get a new one and I am not sure quite how they do that but man, I have to have it ALL, heeehee!!! Just look at that super cute designer patterned paper called Love Impressions (item 121780) - it is totally yummy and I have gone through several packs of it already because it is soooo much fun to play with! I paired it with some Rose Red and Pink Pirouette card stock and the ribbon is actually Blushing Bride which fits in quite nicely!
Here is the 6x6 page that my workshop ladies go to do! We used the new stamp set from the mini called Valentine Defined (clear set item 123057). I had to laugh because I was talking to my sweet husband and when I showed him the layout he said, "oh, you used heart weeds" LOL! So, heart weeds they are :-) Super cute set, I actually bought this set for the flamingos but have now used every single stamp, just love it! The stamped and popped up heart is from the I {heart} Hearts stamp set (main catalog, clear item 118571) which is such a great set because you can use our heart punch ( main catalog, item 119883) to punch out the images which makes them really fun to use as embellishments! We added some Whisper White satin ribbon(main catalog, item 114616) which is so soft and yummy - I just love ribbon!
And, here is the sample of taking the 6x6 to the 8.5x11 layout! You can see how nicely that 6x6 fits and adds so much - just a few added squares for pics, some background stamping, and some pretty embellies and you are done! They really enjoyed making this layout and some of them even said that they had not tried scrapbooking before but this made it seem doable - and, of course it is!!! Sharing my love of scrapbooking is one of my favorite things to do - it makes me grin from ear to ear!!!! I hope you enjoy seeing this as much as I enjoyed making it! And, if you are interested in purchasing any of the products that I have shared, you can order online in my online store, or contact me and I will put your order in! Now, I am off to make some fun cards just for me- gotta stamp sometimes just because, right?? I hope you all have a fabulous day, I will be back tomorrow to share another fun layout we did in my scrap club this weekend! Until then, happy stampin'!
