MFTS SKETCH -WHOOOO'S YOUR VALENTINE

Heehee, I love that saying!!! Here it is, Tuesday already, I am hoping the whole week goes by this fast since I have Friday off and Monday is a holiday - yep, I get a four day weekend!! Now, before you start hating me, remember that I have to take furlough days meaning I don't get paid for these days off...I am just trying to see the bright side of things :-) This card is based on another sketch site I just recently discovered called Mercy's Sketch Challenge - looked like fun, so I played along! I thought the sketch was really easy to play with and since I wanted to use my new set that I just got in the mail on Saturday, it became another Valentines Day card, LOL!! I wonder what I will do with them all.....I only have one Valentine :-) The set is called Whoo's Your Valentine and I am in love with this cute little owl!!! I stamped him in both red and black to match the rest of the card and I just think he is adorable!! I also played with my new punch called Pinking Hearts border punch - love this punch!!! And, I could not resist adding one of my new Sending Love Epoxy brads, they are just soooo cute!!! So, there you have it - another sketch challenge completed!! Now, off to work I go - gotta earn money for my next stamp order, LOL!! Thanks for stopping by and make sure you pop back in tomorrow to see my Hostess gifty I made for my upcoming workshop! Toodles!

SWEET SUNDAY SKETCH - HUGS AND KISSES

Happy Monday all!!! Well, my vacay is over so it is back to reality for me, LOL!! I am sure it will be a shock to my system since I have been off the last three weeks! I spent all day yesterday stamping and scrappin' and had such a good time in my new craft room. I love that I know where everything is and I have a place to put everything back - it makes a huge difference since I can clean as I go and it looks as good now as it did before I started!! Makes me motivated to stamp!!! So, I am trying out some new challenges and this one is called the Sweet Sunday Sketch. I liked the sketch and that it is on the weekend so I am thinking I might be a regular :-) I used the Love You Much set for my main image, embossed it with Iridescent Ice, punched it out, and popped it up! The bottom layer is embossed using my Sizzix folder Petals-a-Plenty which I love. I highlighted it with my white gel pen, then added some black satin ribbon. A pretty simple card, but a fun sketch to play with. Now, off to court then work....gotta go see if this is the day the builder is FINALLY going to settle on the lawsuit for our house....wish us luck!!!! Thanks for stopping by and stop by tomorrow, I have another sketch card to share!
Card Recipe:
Paper - Basic Black, Pink Passion, Pixie Pink card stock
Ink- Pink Passion Craft Ink (for embossing)
Stamps - Love you Much
Accessories - Basic Black 5/8 inch satin ribbon, Iridescent Ice embossing powder, heat gun, dimensionals

SCS SKETCH 162 - FOR A FRIEND

Good morning all! I finally had some time to play along with the SCS card sketch this week - I really enjoy doing them so I am going to try and do them every week. I also used some of my new goodies from the upcoming Occasions Mini - pure YUM, I am tellin' ya!!! The stamp set I used is called Vintage Vogue and I LOVE it!! Such pretty images AND there is a matching wheel which of course I had to have *giggle*. And, of course the beautiful bling DSP called Sending Love - every sheet has gorgeous sparkly stuff on it, who can resist? Not I, which is why mine is all gone and I am awaiting more....I also did some stitching on this one and added a touch of glitter to my flowery swirl. I topped it off with some of the new satin ribbon and the cute epoxy brads and there you have it! LOVED the sketch and I am so glad I had time to do it. Now, I am off to blog hop and stamp some more as I think I have found my groove and don't want to lose it! I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the weekend and thanks for stopping by!
