MY SWEET VALENTINE

Hi all!!! I have been madly stamping to get my projects done before I leave on Saturday for my mom's house - I want to get my kids and Tony's Valentines stuff all done before I go, whew!!!! So, I decided to use Karen's fabulous Sweet Sunday sketch this week to make Tony's card because I love square cards and it gives me more room on the inside to tell him how much I {heart} him!!!! I did not use any pink on this one, Tony is not a pink sort of guy, LOL!!! So, I decided to use my Very Vintage Jumbo wheel and make the background instead of using DSP. And, I love this wheel so it was no hardship *wink* I am lovin' the new punch from SU! called Two-Step Birds - I cannot get enough of using it and I soooo hope it will be in the new catty!! Aren't they cute??!! I decided that brads were too big for the eyes so I racked my little brain and came up with the idea to use the small microbeads and they worked out perfectly....I love when a plan comes together, *giggle*. I also used the small heart from the I {Heart} Hearts stamp set (available in the Occasions Mini) and stamped on the Ruby Red Card stock in the same color ink. Fun!! I love how the card turned out, and I know my man will appreciate it because I made it - he loves all my creations, even the crappy ones, LOL!!! And yes, I did the inside but you can't see cuz it's private, *wink*. Today I am going to run to the grocery store and then finish up some more of the projects I have started so I will have some fun new things to share tomorrow too!!!
