A LITTLE STAMPING THERAPY

Good morning all! I am still feeling under the weather - my ears hurt pretty bad and my head feels like it is going to fall off, but I decided to take some drugs and stamp a little! Thanks so all of you for the well wishes, I really appreciate you thinking about me! My upline offered up a challenge to her downline to come up with a project using our fabulous rub-ons. I so love to use them so I decided I was going to get busy and make an Easter project for someone special. I used a Starbucks bottle (ya know, the ones with frappuchino in them) as my treat holder which I will be filling with chocolate eggs. The Regal Rose belly band around the center is stamped with the flowers from A Good Egg stamp set and then I used my white gel pen to color the flower centers in. I then used Summer Sun card stock and punched out three scallops and layered them with a Regal Rose 1 3/8 inch circle. I stamped my image on Whisper White, colored the chick using my stampin' write markers, and paper pieced the shell with the Flowers For You Dp. I popped this little guy up on dimensionals all around the bottle but used Red Sticky Tape to actually adhere the scallops to the bottle to ensure they stayed. The rub-ons go all the way around the top of the bottle and are from the SAB set which I totally love and will be sad to see go. Right at the neck of the bottle I added some Regal Rose grosgrain ribbon. The lid is decorated with a Regal Rose Scallop and a Summer Sun 1 3/8 inch Circle which I added a rub-on to, then accented the whole thing with my white gel pen. The side of the lid has a piece of Maize grosgrain ribbon around it. Sorry for the blurry pic, no matter what I did, the pic of the top kept coming out like this.
I decided that this little treat bottle needed a matching card so I set to it! It is a fairly straightforward card although I will tell you how I did the image for this one. First I adhered all my layers, then punched a scallop from my Flowers for You DP. I adhered that to where I wanted the image to appear from the inside of the card and used my 1 3/8 circle punch to punch through all the layers. That is how I got the scallop outline. I then punched another circle and placed that on the inside of the card and placed the image on it with dimensionals. Here is a picture of the inside of the card. And, the last picture is the full project.
I used a lot of rub-ons but I love the way they look and I don't think I overdid it. Did I???

So, I will leave you the full recipe below. I hope you like my little project! Stay tuned because later this afternoon there will be a blog candy posting - woohoo!!!
