TEABAG HOLDER

Mornin' all!!! I had a fabulous but busy day yesterday full of stamping! It was Club night and then I had a class so there was lots of laughing going on around here :-) For Club, we made this cute little teabag holder - it is such a fun project to put together and they make such nice little gifties! We used all kinds of fun stuff to put this together. The background is stamped with the Belle Toile background stamp in Chocolate Chip Craft Ink, then embossed with clear embossing powder and it looks soooo pretty! I decided to use some of the In-colors for this one so I got out the Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry, and Soft Suede which really brought the colors of this project out and they looked great together! The belly band is made with the Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series paper which goes sooo well with our In-Colors! Then, we added some of the beautiful Whisper White Organza ribbon - such a pretty ribbon! Here is a picture of the inside of the holder, which shows some more of the In-Colors and DSP as well as the Vintage Vogue stamps found in the Occasions Mini Catty. We distressed the card stock and then sponged the edges with the matching ink color and then used the fabulous Scallop Trim Border Punch (also only avail in the mini catty) to decorate the pocket. CIRCLE CIRCUS SKETCH CHALLENGE CARD

Happy Monday y'all! (I may have moved from Jacksonville, but I can still talk Jacksonville, LOL!) It was a REALLY busy weekend with lots of stamping going on here so to me that means the weekend was a GREAT one :-) The card I am sharing with you today is the one I made for today's sketch challenge over at the Stampin' Connection. My fellow sketch team member Liz did the sketch for today's challenge and it is fabulous! If you are demo, head on over to the site so you can play along! I decided to use my Circle Circus Stamp Set since I have not inked it up in awhile. I just wanted to have fun with this so I did lots of coloring and used some of my fave colors - Regal Rose, Ruby Red, and So Saffron - YUM! I also used my new scalloped edge corner punch which is available in the Occasions Mini catty, and I LOVE it!! I embossed the background of my Whisper White card stock using the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder and then lightly sponged it with So Saffron Ink. The center flower is actually the same stamp stamped three times in three different colors and then popped up on dimensionals. The pretty in pink epoxy brad that I used as the center is also located in the mini catty and they are soooo FUN! So, a pretty simple card but it was really fun to make. FLOWER FOR A FRIEND CLUB CARD

Hi all!!! WOW!!! What a week!!! I promise I did not just leave....someone here hit a light/power pole which took out my Internet AND my phone line so we had NOTHING for the last two days - this is the first day back and I am soooo happy that they got it fixed!! I admit it - I am addicted to my computer, LOL!!! However, I have been stamping and I have something to share with you today that has an element on it that I saw on Patty's blog and fell in love with. It's the flower!! Yep, using the new Extra Large Fancy Flower punch in the Occasions Mini(item 118073) you can make this gorgeous flower! Of course, I don't have the vintage cards and books that Patty has so I made my own vintage paper by sponging, distressing, and crumpling, LOL! but I am happy with how it came out. Thanks for the inspiration Patty, you ROCK! And, just so you can see a close-up of how fun this flower is, here is another pic showing you just the flower! Isn't it purdy??!! Heehee!! I am using this card tomorrow for my stamp club and I am hoping they love it!! Lots of fun elements - dry embossing, punching, sponging, and of course some yummy hardware! So, I am off to cut, cut, cut some paper for my gals tomorrow but I will be back with another fun project to share soon! STAMPIN' CONNECTION SKETCH CHALLENGE

Happy Monday all! It's my last day at my mom's as I am flying home tonight. I had a great visit, but I miss my husband and the kids so I am looking forward to going home...not to mention I am missin' my craft room *smile*. I did manage to get this week's sketch challenge card done though and I am glad I did because it is a fun sketch. For those demos out there, head on over to the Stampin' Connection and play along! For this card I finally inked up my Medallion stamp and I wondering what took me so long because I LOVE it!! I used Versamark, added some gold embossing powder, added some heat, and WOW! look at it shine!! Such an amazing stamp, I think it will be fun to work on some bigger projects with it! VALENTINE HEARTS

Hi all!!! This is going to be a really quick post since my sister and I are headed for a day of shopping, whoohoo!! I love hanging out with my mom and the three of us always have fun, but since mom is working today, it will be just us girls :-) I wanted to share this card with you since it is the one that I made for my kids....they are all slightly different but basically the same style. I got to use my new heart-shaped treat cups and I made it so you can pull the tab (where it says love) and empty the cup without ripping up the card. Very simple card but I think the kids will love the little treats that come with them, *wink*. I will leave you the recipe and then I am outta here!!! A THANK YOU FOR A FRIEND

Happy Hump Day all!! Well, I am still at my mom's and sister's and having fun although it has rained the whole time I have been here! It is supposed to be in the 70s this weekend though and I am looking forward to that since my sister and I are going to the San Diego zoo for the day - can't wait, I love the zoo! So, I made this card before I left and uploaded it to blogger so I could share it today. It is a square card, one of my favorite kind of card to make and it has been awhile!! I also played around with my new Scalloped Trim border punch (FREE in the Sale-A-Bration catty with a $50 order which can be placed with me here) and came up with these cool nested squares....here I was all proud of myself and then I see that several gals have already figured this trick out, LOL!!! But, I still love how they came out! And, the images and the sentiment are from another new set called With All My Heart, which can be found in the Occasions Mini. I love this set, the flowers are so pretty! I added some dazzling diamonds to my image with liquid glue (click on image to see close-up) as well as a pretty Filigree brad and love how it sparkles! And, I added some little rhinestones to the centers of the flowers - you can find these in the Eggcellent Eggs kit also in the Occasions Mini. Stampin' Connection Sketch Challenge

Happy Monday all!! It's time for the SC sketch challenge again so if you are a demonstrator, get on over there and check it out, Diane did a fabulous sketch and a gorgeous sample!!! Sorry, this site is only for demos BUT I am happy to post the sketch here if you would like to play along for fun!!! My card is different for me because I did not do a lot of layers and actually left the card base showing through. However, I used the Background stamp Belle Toile, stamped it in Versamark and embossed it with Gold embossing powder and I LOVE how it looks (click on it to see it up close). The DSP is from the Bella Bleu collection which is really yummy, I love it!! And, I used the stamps set Vintage Vogue which is also very yummy and also one of my absolute favorites!!! The tiny tags are actually from the set in the Occasions Mini called Tiny Tags and they are punched out using the Tiny Tags punch. This is the first time I have used that set and I LOVE IT and see soooo many things I can do with this!! All in all, I am pretty happy with the way this card turned out!!! No recipe since I pretty much told you everything on the card, LOL! but if you have a question, leave it in my sidebar box and I will answer you :-) Now, I am off to do some shopping at the LSS here, so much new stuff out there that I love to just go look at it all and drool!!!!
