Hi all!! Well, I have been working on scrappin' last year's Christmas pics and I am almost finished! I thought I would share one today that really has become a favorite of mine. Now, there is no stamping, and lots of different scrappy products from all kinds of companies, so if you have any questions, just hollah! I love this one because of the meaning behind it - we all kind of get busy buying presents, wrapping, making sure we take care of everyone's material needs, but sometimes we forget the focus of family and how lucky we are to share special times with those we love. When I took these pics of Tony with the kids last year, it really struck a chord - this is what it is all about! Family, celebrating the birth of our Lord, and each other! So, this is what this layout is about! Have a fabulous weekend, all!! Today is my sister's, mom's and Zach's last day here so I will be spending time with them - I will be sad when they leave, I have really enjoyed them being here!! I will not get to see Zach again until Summer, which makes me sad, but I was so fortunate to have him home for these last three weeks - oh, how I love that boy! I will be back tomorrow with something fun to share! Till then!!!January 3, 2009

LAST SKETCH OF 2008
Hi all!! WOW!! What a busy week this has been! My son arrived late Tuesday night and I spent the day hanging out with him yesterday while my other ones were in school. It was really nice having him all to myself - and I am going to do the same today and tomorrow as well so not much stampin' going on around here!! But, I wanted to share the last sketch of Tamara's for this year! It is a great sketch, and I hope you all can find some time to do it!! If you do, make sure you leave a link on Tamara's site so we can all see it, you may be chosen as the featured designer!! And, check out what the rest of the DT did with this one, they totally ROCKED it!!! Not everything on this card is SU! and there is NO stamping - can you believe it?! I just used my rubons, which I totally love!! And, how can you go wrong with yummy chocolate chip designer paper and card stock? The ribbon I used is very vanilla taffeta from SU! and I just love it, it is beautiful ribbon!!! If you have any questions, give me a shout, otherwise, I am off to go Christmas shopping with Zach!! I will be back with my Stamp Something Challenge tomorrow and then that is it until Christmas!!! I have family coming in next week and want to spend some time just hanging out plus I have a TON of wrapping to do!!! Enjoy your day - see ya tomorrow!December 16, 2008

HAPPY MONDAY!
Hi all!! Sorry about the lack of posting yesterday, but we had no Internet for most of the day due to a huge snowstorm that has moved in! It is REALLY cold here (remember, I live in CA, it should not be REALLY cold!) and the snow actually stuck so we have several inches on the ground and we are supposed to get more today!! Ack! At least I have Internet again, I can blurf some and catch up!!! I did do some cards yesterday - I made some thanks cards for some of my husband's coworkers at his last job for getting him some nice farewell gifts as well as some for Christmas packages and such! This is one of the ones I did. I did some stitching and I cut out some of the flowers on the designer paper Urban Garden...I just love that paper! I also decided I needed to break out my build-a-brads again, as they have been neglected for a little while! I really love them, and need to remember that they are on my stamp table just begging to be used! It was kind of nice to make something other than a Christmas card, although I love all my Christmas papers and will be sad to see them retire!! I have soooo much left....need to find some projects to use them all up!! So, I am off to blurf and then hopefully stamp some more thank you cards. Here is the recipe - thanks so much for stopping by!!!Card Recipe:
Paper - Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, Brocade Blue card stock, Urban Garden Designer Series paper
Inks - Not Quite Navy Stampin' Write Marker and classic stampin' pad
Stamps - Say it With Scallops
Accessories - Ticket Corner Punch, Scalloped Edge Punch, Square Scallop Punch, Build-a-Brad, 1/2 inch circle punch, Old Olive narrow grosgrain ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mat Stack and Paper Piercer
