MOJO MONDAY - EVER AFTER

WOW!! Can you believe it's Wednesday already? I swear, time is flying by!! The kiddos will be out of school in four more weeks and then my oldest son will be home from college - WHOOHOO!! I am sooo looking forward to that!! So, since time is getting by me, you are getting to see my Mojo Monday card on Wednesday, LOL! I have to say, this week's sketch was really difficult for me - I scrapped this card three times before I decided this one would have to do!! I don't know exactly why, but this was one of those times when I was relieved I was done....it was like a test I was doing poorly on - LOL! But, I decided I needed to share it so here it is!! I used the Ever After stamp set - I love this set and don't pull it out nearly enough! The images are sooo pretty! I decided to make this a notecard and went with a sentiment from the Sweet Sentiments set. All in all, I guess it isn't horrible.....and I really do like the image. I guess that's why they call them challenges, right? So, do any of you ever struggle with a challenge....come on, help a gal out and let me know I am not the only one, heehee!! It's a great way for me to let myself down gently! So, I am off to stamp some projects for some deadlines I have coming up and I am also going to do some blurfing! I just love not having a real schedule to keep to today! And, don't forget: if you have not registered for my blog candy (see post above) in celebration of our new challenge site scrapandstampsaturday, please do!! And, take a gander over at the new site, and join us there - Melissa and I are soooo excited!! And, Melissa has blog candy too so get on over to her blog too! I can't wait to start seeing the gorgeous submissions I just know are coming our way!! Gotta run now so here is the recipe!

Very pretty card Alex! I think it came out great! I love the image you used! The colors look great too! I struggle with challenges sometimes too, and even cards that aren't challenges. Like the card I posted today, was a big struggle! I redid it a bunch of times. I hate to think how much paper I waste on that card. Then I had it completely done (or so I thought) but I still wasn't happy with it, so I tore it apart and replaced the mats with black (they were banana). =)
