Okay, this may be a little bit of a long post, so please bear with me (you know you love me -
LOL!) So, first off, here is my take on this week's sketch challenge for Tamara - don't you love
this sketch? I decided it had wonderful possibilities and had real fun playing with it! I decided to use my
Enjoy Every Moment stamp set because I still had it out and I just love it - I can't believe I waited so long to buy this one!! Oh well, I am making up for it now -
LOL! So, I really wanted to give this card a soft feel and nothing does that better than rounded corners and sponging - I did a lot of both on this one! Both are really simple techniques that can add a lot to your projects. And, I used my favorite
dp (well, today anyway)
Porcelain Prints - I just love the soft, pretty feel of this paper and will be sorry to see it go(but happy to see some new ones!) Please make sure you go on over to
Tamara's and see what the rest of the Design Team has made - they are all fabulously talented and will wow you, I promise! And, I really really want to see your take on the sketch so make sure you upload your link over on the sketches site so we can all come and check out what you created! Here is the recipe for this one:

Coconut Scrapshop......well, Jen has asked me to be the designer of her July Kit -
whoohooo!!!!! I am so very excited and honored that she thought enough of me to ask - I mean, of course I am going to say YES! YES! YES! So, please stop on over
Jen's blog and then click on the link to her store - I promise you will not be disappointed! Just to tell you how fabulous her stuff is, her June kit sold out in......two hours!!!!! Hello, I am so very glad I had mine!!! And, leave her a comment and show her some love - I know she has been
poppin' in to several of your blogs so stop by and say "hi" back!!! I think Jen is the reason so many of us keep going back for more, not only does she have absolutely wonderful stuff in her store (she gets stuff that nobody else has yet!) but her sunny disposition, and her thoughtful and sweet comments just make your day! Not to mention she has one of the most talented
DTs out there - I mean seriously! Go and check out the gallery if you don't believe me, it will knock your socks off! Okay, so I am truly excited and will be sharing with you more information as it comes together - I will give you a hint though - it is near and dear to my heart!
Teehee!! You will be lining up to get this kit, I promise! Well, enough of my blathering....don't forget to post a link of your card from my sketch and get entered into the drawing for blog candy - hey, it's free!!!
