Here it is - another Scrapbook Saturday!! I have been madly stamping away, getting swaps ready for Convention - can you believe I LEAVE IN THREE DAYS????!!!!!!! WHOHOOOO!!!! Anyone else going? I so want to hook up with some of my fellow bloggers to meet them up close and personal - if you want to, let me know!!! So, on to my page! This is another layout I designed for the Black Market Society booth at CHA. It is another picture of Nikki, my son's girlfriend - she is such a beautiful girl, and I love her to death!! It will be awkward if/when (not sure) they break up - she has become a big part of our life! So, I did this page using my favorite out of her senior pics. The dp is mounted on a 12x12 sheet of
Old Olive card stock. I mounted the pic on
Going Gray card stock, and used my
slit punch to make the
scallops along the bottom. I added an
Old Olive brad to each scallop as well, then rounded the corners of both the pic and the card stock. It is a little hard to tell here, but I cut out some of the large flowers on the dp (from another sheet) and popped them up on
dimensionals here to give this page a 3d look - I really like the effect and wish you could see it better! I cut the letters and the heart out of the
Going Gray card stock using my Cricut, then covered each letter in
mono glue and added
Dazzling Diamonds- this also looks better IRL! The ribbon is May Arts and I used a
SU! clear button with a
rub-on to mount it in the corner. I also used another
rub-on directly on the picture because it went so well with this dp! Last, I added some (well, okay, a LOT!) of
felt fusion flowers with
silver brads all the way down the side of the picture and I love the effect! I was very happy with this page and I hope the Black Market Society folks liked it too! Thanks for visiting me - your comments make my day!! Have a fabulous weekend!
