Mornin' all! Well, I finally got to participate in Beate's sketch challenge again and I decided it was a great way to get my swaps going so I used it as my layout for Leadership swaps. I really like the way it turned out! I used my new stamp set, Time Well Spent (level three hostess set) that Shelly sent to all active demonstrators - isn't she the greatest! DRUM ROLL PLEASE....TA DA!!!!

I stamped, I really really stamped!!! Can you believe it! And, I am ashamed to say....it was hard!! I had no mojo, I could not think of what to do, and I got all flustered and made lots of mistakes BUT I did it! I never realized that you can actually get out of practice. I am happy though that I took some time to do this tonight. Of course, my stamp room is not together yet, so I was back on the kitchen table but it was worth it to me. Tony promises me that all the carpentry will be done by the time I get back from Leadership this weekend - yippee!! Anyway, here it is! I altered a notebook that I had found in the dollar bin at Michael's (dontcha just love that place???!!!). I wanted something to take with me to Palm Springs this weekend to take all my notes and fill with ideas. So, I decided a notebook was just the ticket! I used the Delight in Life stamp set because I wanted to remind myself how important that is - enjoy the moment! Now, each time I take it out, voila! instant reminder!! Life for me has been really really difficult lately and my resolution is to take deep breaths, take it one day at a time, and find some time to enjoy things around me - and that means getting back to stamping! So, enough of my rambling - here are the deets!! Hope you like this!! All supplies are Stampin Up!

BAD, BAD STORM

We have been without power for the last 2.5 days after having one of the worst winter storms they have had here in years (figures). We have several trees down, the well line ruptored, and we lost some tiles off the roof. So, this is a quick note to let you know that I am cleaning up the yard, but will be back tomorrow to select a new winner for my blog candy. Until then!
