Happy Monday all!!! What a busy weekend - trying to get everything ready because I am leaving on Friday-
whoohoo!!! Off to Florida to spend time with friends, go on a fabulous scrapbook cruise, and get away from reality for awhile! I need it more than I could ever tell ya!!! But, I will be posting everyday while I am gone (I know, I am crazy, but it's done already,
lol!) and there will be something cool going on for those of you who leave me comments while I am gone so make sure you check back for more details later this week! So, on to the card! Over the weekend, my
SBS9
sistah Wendy hosted a challenge on
her blog to create a holiday card with
bling on it! (she actually hosted two, I will post the other one tomorrow!) Well, this kind of challenge is right up my alley - I mean,
bling??!!!
Looooovvvvvveeee it!!! I will tell ya, I decided to use my Cinnamon
stickles so that is the one thing on this card that is not
Su! So, I decided on Christmas as my holiday since I can make some for the upcoming season to send out and get somewhat of a head start! I used my Snow Swirl set for this card and I have to say, it is probably one of my favorite Christmas sets that
Stampin' Up! has ever come out with - I just love all the swirls, and how pretty the stamps are. I really enjoyed making this card so thanks Wendy for the awesome challenge!! I will leave you with the recipe - I am off to keep organizing my scrap stuff for my trip -
toodles!
