MY SON

Hi all!! I am extremely busy AND tired with my new job this week - WHEW!! This is a quickie post - I feel bad that I have not had time to come and see you all, but I promise I will catch up this weekend which starts tomorrow afternoon for me - whoohoo!! This layout is of my oldest son - this is his senior picture and I have just now felt that I can emotionally handle doing this page since I feel like a chapter in my life was closed when he graduated and left home! I miss him terribly even now that he has been gone for two years (he will be home at the end of the month for vacation!!!) and even though I am told I will get used to it, I am not sure I will!!! I hope you like it and thanks so much for stopping by!!!

Oh, this is lovely Alex! My daughter is only 4, but sometimes I have little mini panic attacks thinking about her growing up and leaving home... I just want her to stay little! :)

What a good looking boy he is, Alex! Love the page too!

I know exactly what you mean about them growing up and it being hard. My oldest graduated two years ago too so I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. It's hard to be a parent to a young "adult."

What a wonderful page! I feel your mother's heart as you prepared this page. I can't imagine how hard it has been to have him away. He is a darling boy! I am so thrilled for you that you have him coming home for vacation. I know you are all excited!

Glad your new job is going well, but realistically, it has to be a big adjustment for all of you. Hope you soon have energy and strength for your new "normal".

Dang, I can't believe it's been 2 years already. What an awesome page and great picture. I'm going to have to do Tyler's graduation pages soon and I am dreading it. Let me tell you, going through it now for the 4th time, it doesn't get any easier. Enjoy your time with Zach!

Take care of yourself and don't worry about visiting us, we're not going anywhere! lol! Put your feet up and relax when you get home, you have to ease into this working thing, ya know!

Oh sweetie....don't worry about us...you take care of yourself !! I know you want to make sure you are taking care of your faithful fellowers (aka friends) but we all understand you are wading yourself through a "new normal". Don't burn the candle at both ends !!!
About Zach...you know I completely understand !!! It seemed very strange to call Cait at her own place and wish her Happy Birthday...I'm use to just waiting until she came downstairs....it's so different, as we both know. We know they're suppose to grow up and have their own lives....it doesn't mean we have to like it :)...

Big hugs and I miss you !!!

Handsome boy!! gotta love our boys right? I totally 'get' you though with the closing of a chapter - when my son left for the Marine Corp - right after graduation I don't know I felt almost like he had died. Is that horrible? it was like he had been here for 19 years and then poof one day he was gone. I was so sad and melancholy - it really helped me though to scrap him and remind myself of his growing up and now he has these awesome albums to share with his family! I love ya girl and I love this page!!
