AHOY MATEYS!

It's time for the Friday Stamp Something Challenge and this challenge is super easy because it leaves it wide open - all you have to do is STAMP SOMETHING!! Yep, do anything you like as long as you have stamps on it. So, I decided since I am making all these craft fair things that I needed to use these cd cases that I have been holding on to forever. I decided to turn this into a gift card holder that includes a card and give it a by theme! I had a lot of fun with this and think it would make a great gift for that special little boy in your life be it your son, nephew, grandson, whoever!! What little boy doesn't love pirates (hey, what gal doesn't love Jack Sparrow??!!, LOL!) So, this first picture is of the front of the case and yes, I used retired SU! designer paper because I thought it would be a good use for it to make all my craft fair items and this paper is perfect for pirates! And, I could not resist adding some dazzling diamonds to my treasure chest - every treasure has a little bling, right?! This second picture shows the cd case when it is open - on the left side is a pocket that holds the 4x4 birthday card inside and the right side is a pocket with a gift card holder for that special gift that every kid loves (well, and adults, I mean, let's be honest!) I used a lot of primary colors in keeping with my masculine theme and love the way it makes the dp pop! And, I got to use some of my retired ribbon as well since it goes so well here! This last pictures shows a close-up of the birthday card that I made to go inside. I just love my Ahoy Matey set and this little pirate is adorable! I did paper piece his shirt to match he dp - could not resist those stripes, lol! So, I hope you like my entry for the challenge today and make sure you hop on over to the Stamp Something Site and check out what the rest of the DT gals did, they ROCKED this challenge, and I mean WOW!!! And, make sure you upload your take on this week's challenge so we can all take a peek! Now, I am off to continure getting ready for tomorrow's craft fair, and I want you all to do me a favor: the next time you hear me talking about a craft fair, remind me of this one - LOL! And, any idea what one would charge for something like this project above? Any suggestions are welcome! Have a fabulous weekend all - I will be back tomorrow for a quick post before I am off to sell my wares!
