TWO CARDS AND SOME AWARDS!!!

Happy Sunday all!!! Well, I spent all day yesterday getting ready for my 6 for 10 card class but it's all done and I can relax - LOL! I also did some stampin for fun - whoohoo!! (okay, let's be honest, it's ALL fun *wink*) But, I got to do a couple of challenges which I have not been able to do in awhile! This first one is the one I did for Taylor's cupcake sketch challenge, only I don't have my cupcake stamps yet so I used WOW! Flowers instead (hope that's okay Taylor!) It is hard to tell in the picture, but the middle circle with the sentiment is popped up on dimensionals and it looks really cute IRL! This is actually one of the cards we will be making in my 6 for 10 class so I hope they like it! Here is the recipe.
Card recipe:
Paper - Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red, Whisper White card stock, Summer Picnic Designer Series Paper
Inks - Riding Hood REd, Baja Breeze Classic Stampin' Pads
Stamps - Wow! Flowers stamp set
Accessories - 1 1/4 inch , 1/4 inch and 1 inch circle punches, Real Red narrow grosgrain ribbon, Ticket Corner Punch
This next card I made using Julee's Mojo Monday sketch!! I love Julee's sketches and have missed doing them these last few weeks and so I was glad I had time to sit down this week and do it! This card is also one I will be offering at my class! I used Summer Picnic paper again as well as the Wow! Flowers stamp set and the butterfly from the Dreams Du Jour stamp set. I love the color combo on this one - I just drew from the dp and it came together pretty easy! So, here is the recipe for this one!
Card Recipe:
Paper - Real Red, Kiwi Kiss, Bashful Blue card stock, Summer Picnic Designer Series Paper
Inks - Black Stazon, Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss Classic Stampin' Pads
Stamps - Wow! Flowers, Dreams Du Jour
Accessories - Word Window Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8 and 1 1/4 inch circle punches, Photo Corners Punch, Old Olive brads, 5/8' inch Real Red grosgrain ribbon, Bashful blue narrow grosgrain ribbon, Old Olive narrow grosgrain ribbon
And now, to thank some fabulous friends for thinking enough of me to award me the following:
This award was given to me by several very sweet people - Ana, Denise, and Deb! Thanks to you awesome ladies - and right back at ya!!! Thanks for making my day - how sweet you are!
And, this second award is called the Wylde Women award, given to
women who brighten your day, teach you new things and live their lives fully with generosity and joy. I was blessed by Diane who feels I am worthy of this fabulous award - thanks to you and smooches to all of you, you all make my day with your kindness and generosity!! So, I am supposed to award these to others and I am awarding them both to ALL that visit my blog on a daily basis - I love ya for it, and I appreciate the kind comments you leave for me everyday more than you will ever know!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hey, Alex! I'm loving all the cards you've been posting! I do see them all when I receive emails that you've posted - I just haven't had time to come and comment. I just wanted to let me know you have inspired me so much with all these new fabulous creations! I especially love your workshop project from a few days ago (with the pull-out scrapbook bookmarks). I see a whole bunch of stuff here I may just have to CASE for my workshops! ;) (Dont' worry - I'll give you credit!)
Blessings,
Shannon

I have the worst upline in SU history so I have no idea what the six for ten class is but I'm guessing its six cards for ten bucks.
