SMOOTHIE ANYONE???

Hi all!! WOW! was yesterday busy - I joined the Chamber of Commerce, signed up for two craft festivals, set up my Cards for the Troops and planned a workshop - I think I will run for mayor next, lol!!! Just kidding, but I WAS running all over town and blabbering to anyone who would listen about my charity event next week - I am very excited especially since the COC said they will advertise it for me as well - whoohooo!!! But, that is not what you came for, is it? *wink* So, okay, yep, I have something to share today! I made these recipe cards for my monthly recipe card swap with Courtney and this month's theme is coffee drinks or smoothies! I decided I needed to figure out a way to work my Sock Monkey into this equation and voila! banana smoothies! Ya see, I think the Sock Monkey gets a bad rap - I have heard him described as "creepy, ugly, morbid, scary, etc" but really, he is misunderstood! He is adorable and just needs the right venue to look his best!! So, I used the little guy on my recipe cards and look at that face - I mean, too cute, right??!!! I think so anyway - LOL! So, here is a close-up of the card, I made ten of these babies (yep Melissa, one of these is yours and I need to get them in the mail, you are growing quite a stack *wink*) and they were winging their way to Courtney's house as of yesterday afternoon! And, Chris, if you are reading this, THIS IS THE RECIPE SWAP I WANT YOU TO SIGN UP FOR - I mean girl, I love yours!!!! Okay, so I will leave you with a recipe - gotta go work on some projects!! Gosh, how I LOVE my job!!! Smooches!

This is FABULOUS, Alex! It looks like the recipe itself is on a bevellled edge frame or something. Very 3-D looking! And THANKS, for thinking of me. I'm just a little weary with all the things that need to be done around here!
