FLOWER FANCY.....AND SEE YA MONDAY!!!!

Good morning all!!!  Well, I am leaving for the weekend retreat this morning and I am sooooo excited!!! Everything (and I do mean EVERYTHING, lol!) is packed in the car all ready to go.  I brought so much stuff you would think I was leaving for month, LOL!!! I am sure I forgot something though as I always do *sigh*  but I am not going to worry about it, the goal here is to have FUN!!! We are doing a Shoebox swap tonight so I wanted to share my card that I made since the gals that I know that read my blog are already on their way and won't have time to peak and the others I don't know....yet :-)  I decided I wanted to use my Flower Fancy set...I am so glad it is on special this month (20% off, great deal!) since it made me pull it back out and use it - I totally love this stamp set!!!  So much fun to play with!  I decided on a Ruby Red card base....I have to be honest, I will really miss this color when it retires, I love it!!!  I stamped the small flower in the same color ink all over the front of the card.  My patterned paper panels are from the DSP set called Autumn Traditions which you might think is an odd choice but I really thought these colors look summery as well so I went with it!!  The ribbon is Old Olive and is super yummy! I stamped the main image and then stamped and cut out the flower which is popped up on dimensionals.  The sentiment is actually from a different stamp set called Great Friend, another fave of mine.  So, there you have it, my swap card!  I hope the gals like it - I wanted to make something easy to replicate but still be pretty and I think I succeeded....right??!! Come on, tell me I am right, LOL!!  Okay, so now I have to scoot - off to get gas, a coffee for the road, plug in my tunes, and away I go!! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend - I will post pics from the Retreat when I get back!!! Thanks so much for stopping by, I love that you do!
