FEATURED STAMPER CHALLENGE AT STAMP CONNECTION

Hi all, I hope you are enjoying your weekend. I am still licking my wounds over losing my job, it is harder than I thought. I did spend some time in my stamp room this morning which was nice although it took me three hours to make this card! It is for the Stamp Connection Featured Stampers challenge that kicked off today and will be hosted each Sunday. This site is for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators only, but if you are a demo and have not signed up over there, get on over there, it is a fabulous site!! I enjoyed making this card and the Featured Stamper Wendy aka Wickedly Wonderful Creations has wonderful samples in her gallery to choose from!! I based my card on this card of Wendy's. I did lots of distressing on this card - I guess I am feeling the need, lol! And, of course I used my Sending Love DSP again, I am just loving it!! I finally broke out my Very Vintage wheel as well and now that I have used it, I am wondering what I was waiting for? LOVE it!!! So, I did create today which was a good thing. Now, I am off to spend some time with my favorite man (he is soooo good to me) but come on back tomorrow because I will be sharing a card based on the new sketch challenge also over at Stamp Connection - and I am part of the team!! Yep, there are four of us and we will rotate posting the sketch although each week we will all do the sketch as a sample. I am excited about that!! So, see you tomorrow and thanks for stopping by!!

Love your family Christmas picture. Alex, I lost my mojo weeks ago. I keep thinking if I just spend some time in my stampingroom it will come back. I am struggling big time with it. So much that I am wondering if perhaps it's time I moved on from stamping. My mom says, Cheryl that is your passion, you would go crazy if you didn't have your card making. Guess time will tell. Thank you for the lovely card you sent me. I am sorry I didn't get Christmas cards sent out this year, but I sure appreciated getting yours!! Hugs

I'm so sorry about your job!!! But think of all the time you will have for your family and be able to stamp again. I know how it is not working, since my illness 4 1/2 yrs ago I've been off work and find it very difficult. But on my good days I stamp and it is great therapy!
Love your card and your family pic is beautiful!

that's worthwhile. I'm really into video games, do you have any information on the new Call of Duty? I know this
is off topic, but I thought I'd ask. Thanks...oh also, I have some video game writings if you want to check them
