I FOUND MY MOJO!

Happy Monday all!!! WOW!! This last month has been crazy, but I think I have finally settled into some sort of routine with regards to my new job! I know I have not been around much, but I needed to give myself some time to adjust or else I would have pulled out all my hair!!!! I did get to stamp this weekend, and really enjoyed myself - I remember why I love this hobby soooo much, it really does allow me to relax and have fun!! I decided to play with some of my new in-colors since I am still getting used to them, but I have to say, the more I use them, the more I like them. I used Julee's Mojo Monday sketch from last Monday (hey, it was Sunday when I did it *wink*) and love this sketch so I will be putting it in my to use again file, lol! I used my A Little Birdie stamp set and I have to confess, I must have missed this when I went through the retired list because when I went through my stamp closet last night and cleaned it out, I noticed it on there - I am sooooo sad, this is one of my fave sets! So, I am glad I used it one more time before it goes on the sale pile, heehee!! I made this card for a coworker who is turning 60 tomorrow....we are having a party for her in the office so I thought I would make her a card. I also decorated the inside of this one since it was for a special occasion - here is what the inside looks like. I really enjoy decorating the inside of my cards and always wonder why I don't do it more often....it really seems to finish the card for me. I played with some of my new designer paper too, and I am lovin' it!! I am not a huge purple fan, but this paper is absolutely yummy! It's called Cottage Wall and I love the rich, deep colors it has!!! So, I am working today BUT I do have some fun things to show you for the rest of the week AND I have built into my schedule time to do some blog hopping so I will be able to see what you have all been up to as well!! I have really missed you all and I appreciate that you are still stopping by to check on me. Some of you asked me about my DT work - unfortunately, I had to resign from my DT teams because it was not fair to the other gals that I could not meet my obligations each week. So, they have found wonderful replacements and I can now take place in the challenges when I have time! I am trying out for some new teams now - I figure I can work in a few here and there now that I have my life back into some semblance of order, LOL! And, I am hiring a housekeeper - I don't want to clean the house each and every weekend when I am off so that will be one less thing for me to do! Now, off to work - I hope all of you have a WONDERFUL day and I appreciate you all taking the time to stop by - your comments really do MAKE MY DAY!!!

I'm thinking I love the new colors, also. Haven't made up an order yet, but hope to have some soon to play with!

Your card is so cute. Its funny, as I was reading your post, I thought to myself, "I'm going to tell her to treat herself to a cleaning lady" and absolutely thrilled for you when you wrote that you have one! You will never regret it--it makes such a huge difference on the week-ends!

Take care...

I am soooooo happy that you have been able to find "me" time for yourself and the cute projects you do . . . I know that it takes a little time to find that balance between work, family, and housework but it does happen (YEA!) . . . having someone come in to clean house is a blessing (I am so jealous). . . can't wait to see your next card . . . love the colors of this one (what a very lucky co-worker) . . .
