HAPPY MONDAY - LOTS TO SHARE TODAY!!

Hi all!! I hope you had a good weekend...all I can say for mine is I am glad it's over - sometimes they just aren't that great, and I was sick for the majority of it!! Still not feeling 100% but it's better than having my head in the toilet, lol! So, I have some challenge cards to share today - the first one is a twofer: I used Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge (hosted by Lori Craig this week) to do my card, and it also is my Mojo Monday challenge for my stamp group which is to stamp something using two sets from the Occasions Mini catty! I chose Forest Friends and Oval All although it was a hard choice as love all the sets in there, lol! And, I have to say, this sketch ROCKS!!! I love it because you can go simple or get elaborate, it's so flexible!! Here is the recipe, it's pretty straightforward.
Card Recipe:
Paper - Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Summer Sun, Whisper White card stock, Good Morning Sunshine Designer Series paper Inks - Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Summer Sun stampin' pads and stampin' write markers
Stamps - Forest Friends, Oval All
Accessories - Large Oval Punch, Scalloped Oval Punch, Old Olive narrow grosgrain ribbon
This next card I did for Taylor's Cupcake Challenge - loved this sketch!! I decided to ink up my A Year of Sweets 2 for this one, and make a Fourth of July card...I know, it's a little early, but I love patriotic cards! The sentiment is one I made up and typed on the computer, but I like it, lol! I did lots of layering on this one, using some fabulous dsp from BG. And, I had to stitch on this one, I have not done it in awhile, and it felt good. Here is the recipe for this one:
Card Recipe: (all SU! unless otherwise indicated)
Paper - Riding Hood Red, Night of Navy, Whisper White card stock, Basic Gray Boxer Series Dp
Inks - Night of Navy Stampin' Pad, Bayou Blue, RubyRed, More Mustard, Night of Navy Stampin' Write Markers
Stamps - A Year of Sweets 2 by Taylored Expressions
Accessories - Mat Stack and paper Piercer, white gel pen, Large Oval Punch, Scalloped Oval Punch, Night of Navy grosgrain ribbon, Ruby Red brads
This third card is for the Occasions Whimsy Challenge still going on over at the Whimsy Challenges site! I have seen some fabulous eye candy so far, and I hope you have not had time to play, that you will this week! Break out those Whimsy images and show us what you've got - there are some FREE, I said FREE Whimsy stamps up for grabs for some lucky winner so upload your link this week for your chance! For this occasions card, I decided to go with an anniversary card using the cute little walrus....I love him! The sentiment is from the Whimsy Sayings set and it matches perfectly! I kept this pretty simple, but I did add some Dazzling Diamonds to his chompers - I mean, everyone needs a little bling in their life *wink* Here is the recipe for this card.
Card Recipe: (all items SU! unless otherwise noted)
Paper - Night of Navy, Basic Gray, Going Gray, Whisper White card stock, Basic Gray Boxer DSP
Inks - Night of Navy, Basic Gray, Going Gray
Stamps - Whimsy Walrus, Whimsy Sayings
Accessories - Scalloped Edge Punch, Large Oval Punch, Scalloped Oval Punch, Night of navy ribbon, Going Gray Corduroy button, twine, Dazzling Diamonds, Liquid Glue
Well, today I am going to finish the chores I did not get to this weekend, and then prep for a Marker class tomorrow night as well as a mini scrapbook album for this weekend. I love being busy and productive, let's hope the day stays this way, lol!! Thanks so much for stopping by today, I appreciate it!! Have a fabulous day!
