STAMP SOMETHING - VALENTINE SOMETHINGS

Happy Friday all!! Whew! I have been stamping like a fiend getting ready for tonight and I am almost there, lol!!! I incorporated today's Stamp Something challenge with one of my class samples since I am teaching a Valentines Day class and well, this week's challenge is Valentines Somethings!! It is sponsored by Whiff of Joy Stamps who is kind enough to provide a little something for one lucky someone who does this challenge! I went with my altered mailbox and matching card - I love these little tins and I managed to score a bunch of these on clearance at Target last year! Gotta love the dollar spot *wink* I used the ultra yummy new DP called Pink Flamingo - I am totally lovin' this paper and have used an entire pack already!! LOVE it!!! It has soooo many beautiful colors and styles!! Lots of embossing in this project too - the cards images are both stamped, covered in Versamark and Iridescent Ice, then heat set. Here is a better view of the card, you can see a little bit more of the details! I used Julee's Mojo Monday sketch for this card, and was soooo excited that I got to play with it! The two images on the mailbox are stamped in Rose Red Craft Ink, then heat set with clear powder. Love how it turned out!! Here is a better pic of just the tin - hope you can see some of the details, IRL it really did turn out well! It will be filled to the brim with assorted chocolate hearts and will go home with one lucky gal tonight! So, there you have it!! Now, I am sure you will love what the rest of the DT gals did as well so make sure you hop on over to the Stamp Something site and check them out! Remember, if you take part in this challenge, upload your link to the site so you can be entered into the drawing for a really yummy prize! Now, I am off to finish up stuff for tonight but I will be back tomorrow with a really cool two-page layout that is my Scrap Club project for this month!! Enjoy your Friday and have a fabulous weekend!
