FEELS LIKE WINTER....

It has been really cold here the last three or four days and we actually had our first fire of the season over the weekend, which totally put me in the mood to make Christmas cards. I have a craft fair coming up so I thought it might be good to make a few. I used my favorite set from the Holiday mini called Winter Post- it just really reminds me of the holiday season and family. So, I made a couple variations of this same card and thought I might make a set of six of these, two of each design - and this is the first two!! I am loving the Ski Slope DSP as well - it reminds me of snow! So, I decided that using my Felt Flurries again would be perfectly okay *wink* Here is the second variation of this card - I just flipped it vertical and added some different stitching, but is is basically the same card. I hope you like these because I have a feeling you will be seeing more of the same in the next few days since I am hooked on this stamp set - LOL! I will leave you with the recipe for both below! Have a fabulous day!! And, REMEMBER TO VOTE - THIS IS AN HISTORIC ELECTION!!!!
Card Recipe:
Paper - Baja Breeze, Naturals White card stock, Ski Slope Designer Series Paper
Inks - Black Stazon ink, Rose Red stampin' write marker
Stamps - Winter Post
Accessories - Designer Label Punch, Ticket Corner punch, Mat stack and Paper Piercer, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini glue dots, Felt Flurries, Fire Rhinestone brads (red)

I sort of giggle when you say it's cold there...not because it isn't but because what you think is cold probably is still a heat wave for me ;) We are expecting snow this week...gotta remember to dig out Chloe's snow pants and fix the hole in the knee from last year...haha...but I better make sure they FIT still eh?

Your cards are FABULOUS!! Love those snowflurries...so pretty!

I will be watching the election coverage tonight!

What a great card, Alex! It seems like you are getting the cold we should have. It's 75 here in Chicago, unbelievable for November but perfect for the big election and Obama's rally outside! Take care!
