PUMPKIN POOP ANYONE?

Hi all!!! I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Mine was okay, I was sick starting Saturday and I am still not feeling really great. I had the craft fair on Saturday which went well, but I did not enjoy it since I was not feeling well. But, my goodies were a hit, for which I am thankful! So, in keeping with the fall theme for this week, today I am sharing some "pumpkin poop" and some neat test tube candy holders that I made for Kayla's school fundraiser coming up next weekend! I thought they would be fun and would definitely catch a kid's eye - I mean hey, it's candy, lol!!! So, I made about 50 of these and can honestly say I don't ever want to see another candy corn again! I used small cello bags, then added my topper on with staples underneath so you can't see them. Here is a close-up of the topper: I found this poem online and thought it was really cute so I decided to use it! I have no idea who authored it, but would give them credit if I did! I also saw these really cute test tube holders on Lisa Somerville's blog, and decided to give them a try because I thought she did a fabulous job on these! She has mad talent, and is super creative! They are really cute and I got the test tube at Michael's using my coupon so not a bad deal at all! These are also going to be in one of the baskets for our silent auction and I have already been told the ladies have been checking them out and want them so hopefully we will raise a lot of money this weekend! So there you have it - my contribution to the neighborhood dentist who is sure to have plenty of business after the kids eat these - they are sooooo sweet, yuk!! But hey, they are popular so I guess someone must like them - LOL! I will leave you with the recipe for these below! Don't forget to check out my post about the Fall Frenzy over at Coconuts - it is going to be a blast, you don't want to miss it! Until tomorrow!!!
Candy Recipe:
Paper - Pumpkin Pie, Kiwi Kiss, Basic Black, Naturals White, Whisper White card stock, Ghostly Greetings Designer Series Paper

Stamps - Booglie Eyes
Accessories - Small Cello Bags, Circle Scallop Punch, 1 3/8 inch Circle Punch, 1 inch Circle Punch, Sticky Tape, Old Olive, Basic Black, and Only Orange narrow grosgrain ribbon, (poem printed on computer)

Awesome projects Alex! I love them! I have 8 of the test tubes so seeing all these projects made with them has got to get me moving! I tried Candy Corn for the very first time in my life on the weekend because my daughter says they are sooooo good, not really my thing, they are very, very sweet! I bought the little mini treat bags from Wal-mart & that's all you need!

Hope you feel better soon or are feeling better soon! I have no idea how you get everything done, & post comments. I'm having a heck of a time lately!!!!
