Hi all!! Sorry about the lack of posting yesterday, but we had no
Internet for most of the day due to a huge snowstorm that has moved in! It is REALLY cold here (remember, I live in CA, it should not be REALLY cold!) and the snow actually stuck so we have several inches on the ground and we are supposed to get more today!!
Ack! At least I have
Internet again, I can
blurf some and catch up!!! I did do some cards yesterday - I made some thanks cards for some of my husband's coworkers at his last job for getting him some nice farewell gifts as well as some for Christmas packages and such! This is one of the ones I did. I did some stitching and I cut out some of the flowers on the designer paper
Urban Garden...I just love that paper! I also decided I needed to break out my
build-a-brads again, as they have been neglected for a little while! I really love them, and need to remember that they are on my stamp table just begging to be used! It was kind of nice to make something other than a Christmas card, although I love all my Christmas papers and will be sad to see them retire!! I have
soooo much left....need to find some projects to use them all up!! So, I am off to
blurf and then hopefully stamp some more thank you cards. Here is the recipe - thanks so much for stopping by!!!
Card Recipe:
Paper - Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, Brocade Blue card stock, Urban Garden Designer Series paper
Inks - Not Quite Navy Stampin' Write Marker and classic stampin' pad
Stamps - Say it With Scallops
Accessories - Ticket Corner Punch, Scalloped Edge Punch, Square Scallop Punch, Build-a-Brad, 1/2 inch circle punch, Old Olive narrow grosgrain ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mat Stack and Paper Piercer
oooOOoOOOOOOoooo I love the colors on this! And, thank you for my Christmas card! It is beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteSnow?! Ack! I don't think I'd want snow if I lived in California....nope...lol
ReplyDeleteIt's cold here too...with windchill this morning it's -41...oh I'm NOT looking forward to going outside. I'd rather stay home and stamp...thanks for the reminder that now I need to get busy with thank you cards...haha!
Wonderful! I can totally relate...in Oregon at 300 feet above sea level, we generally only get a mild dusting and the kids yearn for more. Not so today...22 degrees at the moment and quite a few inches on the ground. No school today but hubby still has to trek 20 miles to work. Eeegads. Brrrrrr. And it's to get colder!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Alex and what a beautiful card! Love the cut work and the design. Gorgeous colors to. :)

ReplyDeletesuper cute
oh, yes the weather is unusual. The thing that suck the most are the people who have no idea how to drive in the rain (down here) San Diego gets less than an inch of rain a YEAR and then is rains 2 inches is one day, it was a nightmare...and I kept losing power all day...hubby is at SERE school, so I'm just a basket case this week lol
Hey Girlie !!! Betcha thought I'd fallen off the planet, eh? Nahhhhhh...just busy :) I love all the projects you've been posting.....just gorgeous !!!!
