HOSTESS WITH THE MOSTESS GIFT

Good morning all!! Whew!! The last few days have been just a whirlwind of activity with two back-to-back workshops and a charity event!! But, today I get to catch up on my computer work and catch my breath! So, I thought I would share the gift I made for the hostess of my workshop last night. It is a wall hanging that I thought she could put in her office. It is made of chipboard and I used the Tart and Tangy Designer Series paper to cover it along with the Flight of the Butterfly and Ginormous Flowers stamp sets. I love the way they look together!! I used a large Chipboard "a" from our On Board chipboard set, sponged it with Old Olive ink, then stamped the small flowers on it from GF in Always Artichoke classic ink (everything is stamped in this color). I stamped the large flowers, cut them out, and popped them up on dimensionals, then added a smaller flower stamped in Bashful Blue ink, cut that out, added a Rhinestone brad and popped them up with dimensionals too! My butterflies are 3d - click on the pic to see this better! And, no project would be complete without Jumbo Eyelets which I used the ribbon - Bashful Blue and Always Artichoke narrow grosgrain ribbon, yummy together! I hope you like it - I was pretty happy with how it turned out!! So, now off to catch up on everything going on - will be back tomorrow with Tamara's sketch challenge, whoohoo!
